OINP Latest Draw

OINP kick-started the big immigration draw under Human Capital Priorities Stream by giving 1,493 invitations to Express Candidates with ranking scores as low as 439. The current invitation round was ‘General’ or non-targeted draws for Human Capital Priorities Stream. This means candidates in the draw did not necessarily require a job offer letter from Ontario employer or French language proficiency.

The minimum Express Entry ranking score in this week’s Human Capital Priorities draw 439 was lower than the minimum score in the last Express Entry draw held in 2018.

Though, neither job offer nor French Language Proficiency was required in order to be eligible for the Human Capital Priorities Stream. However, the stream updated in December that the preference will be given to applicants with a job offer or work experience in specific occupation or sectors may be prioritized.

The successful Express Entry candidates who receive a Notification of Interest (NOI) from Ontario are eligible to receive an additional 600 points towards their Express Entry score that further boosts the immigration chances.

The Human Capital Priorities Stream issued 3,719 invitations to Express Entry candidates in 2018 resulting OINPs three Express Entry-linked streams the busiest and another 1,633 were issued through the French Speaking Skilled Worker Stream and 1,626 went to Express Entry applicants through the Skilled Trades Stream.
