On October 2, 2019 Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held its largest Express Entry draw since January 2019. A total of 3,900 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canadian permanent residence were issued to candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores of 464 or higher. The draw was an increase of 300 ITAs over the previous draw of September 18.
In order to enter the Express Entry pool, candidates must first meet the eligibility requirements for one of the three programs. The first step is to create an Express Entry profile. A job offer is not required to enter or be selected from the Express Entry pool. The highest-ranked candidates are invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence during regular draws from the pool.
You may pre-qualify for a Canada immigration program.
The 3,900 ITAs issued in today’s draw brought the total number of invitations issued in 2019 to 67,300, well on target for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)’s 2019 and 2020 admission targets.
